#MYMINDMYMAGIC is our bi-monthly drop in session hosted by our alumni. They choice a topic or a theme relating to mental health and self care and create a 2 hour session, in the past we've had a singing circle, collaging and self care bingo night.
Where or who is home to you? Join us for a two-hour creative workshop where you’ll combine collage and writing to craft a personalized postcard to home. Facilitated by Jasmine Vanstone this workshop invites you to explore your connection to home.
Postcards to Home: Through journal prompts, conversation, and collaging, we will explore the concept of home and safe places. Bring photocopies of your favorite places, people, and things, and create a postcard appreciating the things in your life that bring peace, joy, and love.

photo copy of places or people

Jasmine Vanstone is a Jamaican-Canadian multidisciplinary artist, facilitator and administrator who inspires, impacts, and amplifies marginalized voices through community engagement and arts education. Through her artistic practice, she experiments in various mediums -primarily collage, public art, and paper crafts- to share visual reflections of identity, wellness, and the natural environment.
Created in 2019 during mental health awareness week, we wanted to create space that acknowledged our unique experience. We are often left out of the conversation. #MyMindMyMagic Mental Health Dialogues are led by graduates from previous leadership cohorts.
