NEVER OVER

Never Over, explores the words, “It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.” In Never Over, a trans man struggles silently with his mental health even after having transitioned, when people expect you to be okay. Dear Joanne

My approach to filmmaking is rooted in collaboration, particularly with other queer, BIPOC artists who share a passion for creating work that resonates on a deep, emotional level. While embracing the fluidity and spontaneity that creative collaboration brings, I strive to create narratives that explore the intersection of culture, identity, and human experience. Dear Joanne is a short film about giving yourself grace. It is a testament to all my hard work and dedication to becoming my authentic self. I hope that it inspires others to acknowledge and celebrate their own journeys and growth as they become who they are today.
